Landry Investment Management attaches great importance to governance. For this reason, a series of independent actors intervene in the administration of the funds and the segregated client portfolios.
We created the Landry Funds so that we can offer our clients financial instruments adapted to our investment philosophy. These funds are trusts that are entirely separate from the firm. The trustee is Computershare, one of the global leaders in this area, employing more than 10,000 people and serving more than 30,000 clients, such as Landry Investment Management, in 20 countries.
Landry Investment Management is an investment adviser and a registered investment fund manager regulated by Québec’s Autorité des marchés financiers.
The firm is also registered with five other regulatory bodies:
- Autorité des marchés financiers du Québec
- Ontario Securities Commission
- Alberta Securities Commission
- British Columbia Securities Commission
- New Brunswick Securities commission
- Yukon Securities Office
These bodies regularly inspect our Funds and the firm, with the most recent inspection having taken place in the summer of 2013.
The Assets of Landry Funds are held by three leading financial institutions. Our employees therefore have no access to the assets in the Funds.
