Jason Laliberté obtained his Master of Science in Administration (M.Sc.) with a major in Finance from Université de Sherbrooke and he has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, also from Université de Sherbrooke. In the course of his bachelor degree, he had two internships with GE Capital Solutions. His Master’s essay done at Bank of America Merrill Lynch studied the premiums of merger and acquisition transactions in Canada.
Jason Laliberté was part of the team that won the 2011 regional final of the GIRC “Global Investment Research Challenge” organised by the CFA Institute.
He is a CFA charterholder since 2013 and has completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC), the Derivatives Fundamentals Course (DFC) and the Canadian Fund Course (CFC).
Jason has over 7 years of experience in the investment management industry. His areas of expertise include fundamental research, trading, derivatives and research coverage of consumers, energy and industrials stocks.
He joined Landry Investment Management as an analyst in 2010.
