In 1981, Jean-Luc Landry joined the Bolton Tremblay team as Vice-President and Portfolio Manager. He was promoted to President in 1987. Bolton Tremblay was purchased by its managers in 1994. After Bolton Tremblay merged with Montrusco et Associés, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Montrusco Bolton from 1999 to May 2000.
Mr. Landry is a former President of the Association des conseillers financiers du Québec and of the Association des économistes québécois. For several years he was a member of the Investment Committee of Capital Régional et Coopératif Desjardins, of the Alberta Investment Management Corporation (the Alberta equivalent of the Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec) and Optimum Réassurance. He is a board member of Garda World Security Corporation.
He has a Bachelor of Economics from Collège Sainte-Marie and has completed the course work for a Master of Economics from the University of Ottawa.
Mr. Landry is President, director and portfolio manager of Landry Investment Management.

Benoit Brillon has over 20 years of experience in the investment management industry. He started his career in 1997 as the Chief Economist and Asset Mix Specialist for Natcan Investment Management. In 1999, he was invited to join the Canadian Equity team ($6 billion in AUM), quickly rose through the ranks and in 2004 was promoted to Vice President and Partner. At the end of 2007, Mr. Brillon and two other partners of Natcan founded Selexia Investment Management with $2.5 billion in AUM. In 2012, Mr. Brillon joined Landry Investment Management as Chief Investment Officer, Lead Portfolio Manager and Senior Partner.
Mr. Brillon’s investment management expertise encompasses global equities, Canadian equities, long/short equity funds, investment strategy, ValMo (value and momentum) investing, top down macro investment and economic forecasting, adaptive investing and natural resource equities (oil and gas, base metals, gold and fertilizers).

Charles Lemay is the Vice President of Business Development and CFO at Landry Investment Management. In this role, he is responsible for the execution and implementation of Landry's global business development strategy as well as managing the company's financial operations.
Mr. Lemay has a combined 15 years’ experience in business development, sales and operations at top-tier investment banks on Wall Street and buy-side investment firms. Prior to joining Landry, Mr. Lemay was the Head of U.S. Business Development at Addenda Capital, where he built an institutional network across consultants, pension plans and asset management platforms. During his first two years back in Montreal, Mr. Lemay worked in the hedge fund start-up world where he focused on fundraising and marketing, as well as firm strategy and risk management. Mr. Lemay spent the first 10 years of his career in sales and in operations at top tier investment banks on Wall Street. At Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 2006, he attained the post of Vice President while working in emerging markets cross-asset sales.
Mr. Lemay obtained a Bachelor’s degree in International Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey, where he played on the Division 1A tennis team. He is also a former alpine ski racer with the Club de Ski Mont-Tremblant, and played high school and CEGEP football. He still enjoys playing tennis, soccer and golf regularly.
Mr. Lemay is a passionate leader, thrives under pressure and has a strong work ethic, but considers making and nurturing lasting relationships a principal goal in life.

Colette Bournival joined Landry Investment Management in January 2008. She is Vice President Private Management and was Chief Compliance Officer from 2012 to 2018. In providing wealth management services to our clients, Ms. Bournival helps set the strategic direction of Landry’s wealth management services, ensuring the firm is geared towards the needs of private wealth clients across Canada.
Before joining Landry Investment Management, Ms. Bournival worked as an Investment Adviser, first for McNeil Mantha from 1984 to 1987 and then for Scotia McLeod from 1987 to 1989. She then joined the National Bank of Canada as Sales Manager.
In 1990, Ms. Bournival joined Banque Nationale de Paris (Canada) as Vice President and Director of the BNP (Canada) Securities division. She was later appointed Vice-President, Private Client Management, for Canada.
Ms. Bournival worked for Montrusco Bolton Investments as Vice President, Private Investment Management, from 1996 to January 2008. In that capacity, she was responsible mainly for the division’s customer service and business development. Ms. Bournival is a member of the Ordre des administrateurs agréés du Québec and a member of the Québec Breast Cancer Foundation. She is also a member of the Women’s Y Foundation.
She has a Bachelor of Communications from Concordia University as well as a financial planning certificate from HEC. She also holds the designation of registered representative and completed the Partners, Directors and Senior Officers Qualifying Examination of the Canadian Securities Institute.

A. Scott Fraser brings over 50 years of investment management experience. A founding partner of Jarislowsky Fraser in 1959, he was instrumental in developing the private client and institutional investment management market in Canada. Since 1979, he has been an independent investment counsellor with several firms, including MacDougall Investment Counsel and Magna Vista/AGF Private Investment Management. His strength is fundamental corporate research.
Mr. Fraser joined Landry Investment Management in January 2015. He is Vice President, Private Management.

Maxim Saint-Amant Lamy obtained a Master of Science in Administration with a major in finance from HEC Montréal after completing a Bachelor of Business Administration, also at HEC Montréal. While doing his undergraduate degree, he spent one session at the WHU-Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz, Germany. His Master’s thesis concerns pricing methods for American-style options on interest rate derivatives. Mr. Lamy has completed the Canadian Securities Course and has been a CFA charterholder since 2012.
Mr. Lamy has over 8 years of experience in the investment management industry. His areas of expertise include quantitative research, funds operations and research coverage of information technology and telecommunications stocks.
He works for Landry Investment Management as chief compliance officer and has been an Analyst since 2008.

Jason Laliberté has 10 years of experience in the investment industry. His areas of expertise include global equities, fundamental research and trading. He started his career at Landry in 2010 after completing his Master of Science in Administration (M.Sc.) with a major in Finance from Université de Sherbrooke. He also has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, also from Université de Sherbrooke.
In 2018, Mr. Laliberté was promoted to Assistant Portfolio Manager and Partner of the firm. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2013.

Philippe Girard’s role as Analyst includes quantitative research and trading of mutual funds while applying his expertise in factor-based strategies and the programming languages used to develop new quantitative investing strategies. He is proficient with programming languages used in the development of new investing strategies.
Mr. Girard graduated from Université de Sherbrooke in 2017 leading to a Master of Science with a major in finance. His Master’s thesis dealt with the prediction of the Canadian equity risk premium. He has been a CFA charterholder since 2020.

Elaine Mallette joined Landry Investment Management in May 2019 and helps coordinate client service for Private Wealth clients as well as performing office administrative duties. She is a skillful collaborator who has a sound understanding of client needs and ensures that our clients receive exceptional service.
Ms. Mallette has over 15 years of financial services experience both in Canada and abroad. Previously, she worked for Man Investments PLC in Ireland and then in Toronto, covering client services, operations and compliance. Before joining Landry, she was Executive Assistant at Addenda Capital in Montreal.
Ms. Mallette holds a BA Media in Information & Technoculture from the University of Western Ontario and is currently completing the CSC.
